Doctor Love Slot Game Review
The Doctor Love slot game is one of the earlier creations from the team at NextGen Gaming and was put out onto the market in the early part of the 2010 decade, although the exact release date is unknown.
The reels really standout in the Doctor Love game and although there is nothing startling about the graphics, the vibrant purple background really adds something to the machine. This game can be played on desktop, mobile and tablet devices.
GAMEPLAY
In an age where a huge amount of slot games are set in the ancient times or with an Asian or Oriental theme, it is actually quite refreshing to find a machine where the emphasis is very much on fun! The theme of this slot is a hospital and mixes comedy with good gameplay.
When spinning the reels in the Doctor Love game the hospital theme really comes to life. All the icons on the reels are to do with a hospital. There is a cup of medicine, crutches, stethoscopes, hospital notes, get well flowers, nurses watches, teddy bears and ambulances. It is the patient with bandages that pays the most in the base line game but the biggest payer in the game is Doctor Love himself. He is the Wild symbol who pays out 5,000 coins for a full five icon combination. The other icon in the game is the Scatter which is a ‘love meter’ which is filled with a heart.
BONUS FEATURE
There are two bonus features in the Doctor Love slot game. The first of those is the Free Spins feature. This triggers if you get three of the Love Meter Scatter across the reels in the base game.
If you get three icons you are rewarded with 10 free spins. Four symbols nets 15 free spins and all five gives you 20 free spins. The best thing about the free spins is they come with a 3x multiplier so wins are trebled. You can also re-trigger the feature should three more Scatters hit the reels.
The other feature in the Doctor Love slot game is the Gamble feature. Whenever you land a win in the base game you get the chance to gamble the win for more cash. You have to play a ‘guess the next card’ game. To double your winnings you need to choose if the card is red or black. To quadruple it you need to choose the correct suit of the card. Be careful though as if you gamble and pick incorrectly you lose that win.

VERDICT
Doctor Love is well worth a try if for no other reason than to play a slot game with a completely unique theme to it. The graphics for Doctor Love are pretty simple but the game is fun and easy to play and comes well recommended as one which provides plenty of enjoyment throughout.
