Prosperity Palace Slot Game Review
The Prosperity Palace slot game is actually one of the simpler creations from the usually hi-tech team at Play’N Go. We are used to strong graphics, compelling soundtracks and a really strong vibe about their games but there isn’t that about this one.
That isn’t to say that the graphics are awful, they just don’t feel as strong as they should be, even though the reels are set in front of the backdrop of a temple. The game is easy to navigate though and it can be played across desktops, tablets and mobile devices.
Although you wouldn’t necessarily notice it from the name, Prosperity Palace is another Asian themed slot game, of which there are many on the scene these days. This five reel, 10 payline video slot takes us deep into the Asian culture and heritage in search of the riches that come with inner peace.
There is a good blend of icons in this game with the usual playing cards 10, J, Q, K and A among the lower paying symbols. The better paying ones include Koi fish, Gold Coins and a girl. The big symbols are the Jade Dragon and Golden Buddha ones. These are the Wild and the Scatter icons with the latter potentially earning you up to 500 times your first bet.
Although there is a simple nature and feeling to the Prosperity Palace slot game, it isn’t devoid of bonus features, the main one of which comes in the form of a Free Spins feature. This is activated when the Golden Buddha Scatter icon appears on reels 1, 3 and 5 at the same time. When that happens you are given 10 free spins and the Golden Buddha turns into a Wild icon throughout those spins. This is a feature that can be retriggered once meaning you can get as many as 20 free spins.
The other bonus feature in the Prosperity Palace game is the Wild icon. This substitutes everything apart from the Golden Buddha Scatter and pays nicely if you can fill one of the paylines with a full combination of it.
The RTP rating for the Prosperity Palace slot game is more than attractive for the punter. It is 96.7% which is nicely above the average for a slot machine.
If you are a regular player of the video slots from the Play’N Go team then you might be quite surprised at the simplistic nature of the Prosperity Palace slot game. There is a saying that ‘less is more’ and that appears to be the approach that the creators have taken with this Asian themed slot, of which the market is full of. The features aren’t massively appealing and they don’t come along as often as you would like so other than the Asian culture path that we are taken on, there isn’t really a lot to make a song and dance about with this slot. It might be worth trying, but possibly no more than that.
