The Super Flip slot game was brought to us by the Play’N Go team as far back as 2015. It is a five reel, 20 payline slot which has a real popularity because of its retro design, outlook and theme.
Everybody likes a bit of retro right? Super Flip is certainly that and although the design is very much from that angle, the graphics are quite strong and catchy. The game can be played on a desktop or on laptop and tablet devices.
GAMEPLAY
There isn’t really a storyline or a game theme in the Super Flip slot game. Apart from its retro design and outlook it is largely a traditional fruit machine that you would find in land casinos or hospitality establishments.
If you have played a classic fruity before then you will be familiar with many of the symbols in Super Flip. The low paying icons are the typical card suits, while the better paying symbols are headed by the Diamond, the Star, the Horseshoe, the Club and the Strawberry. There is a Wild in Super Flip and that is the Golden Coin. It is the Super Flip logo that is the most important icon of all those. That is the Scatter.
BONUS FEATURE
Super Flip has two different features, which is a bit of a surprise given the classic nature of the game. The first one is the Near Win Respin feature which can come along in the base game or the Free Spins feature which we will come on to. If you fill the first two reels with the same symbol, and if no symbols on the third reel matches it, there will be a respin in reel 3 which can get you some nice wins.
The Free Spins feature is the other one in the game. This is activated by three of those Super Flip logos landing on the reels. You will be given an initial 15 free spins to get stuck into, but this can be reactivated regularly to allow for a maximum of 90 free spins. While you are playing the free spins the reels slip with the first replacing the last and vice versa. With the Near Win Respin feature also in play you can run up some big wins.
RTP
The Super Flip slot game comes with an RTP rating of 96.53% which is perfectly acceptable in the current market.
VERDICT
Super Flip might be traditional and classic in the way it is played but that doesn’t make it a bad game to play. If you love some retro graphics then this is very much a game for you. If you want high volatility then we recommend looking elsewhere, but if you are a low-risk player or a newcomer to slot games then this is a good one to give a try. The features allow you to win relatively big even with small bets which will appeal. Aside from a stronger design and more powerful graphics there isn’t much else to wish for than what Play’N Go have given us with Super Flip.
