Baccarat

Baccarat is a hugely popular table game for those in the gambling community. The game has become a staple for casino players and Real Time Gaming (RTG) recognised that from a very early age.

Despite being produced in 2006, their Baccarat slot game has proven to stand the test of time and this Baccarat game review will provide players with everything they need to know in order to be as successful as possible – including a top tip!

Gameplay

RTG are an industry-leading developer that were originally from Atlanta, Georgia, United States but have since moved their operations to Costa Rica. They have continued to provide bettors with some of the best slots and table games and Baccarat is just one of them in their portfolio.

The first thing our Baccarat review found was that bettors are required to set up their wagers before playing the game. There are three main bets that can be made and this is done by simply clicking on the bet that is desired. Once this is done, the amount that wished to be staked can. Players can bet on all available bets, if they wish.

The game can be played at any pace the player desires, thus providing a cool and calm relaxed atmosphere when sitting at the table with a brown finish that is presented. Once the ‘deal’ button has been pressed, two hands will be drawn; the banker’s and the player’s.

The aim of the game is to have a hand that is the closest to eight or nine. Any card that is drawn over the value of a 9 is automatically considered a zero.

If no winner can be declared after two cards, a third will be drawn – something that will automatically happen for a player who scores less than five from their first two cards. The banker will only receive a third card if the player does.

RTG have also implemented a nice feature in which players can check the history of their bets. It will keep track of the last few bets and the results that have been produced.

What bets can be made?

One thing that we noticed whilst doing our RTG Baccarat review was that the game swayed more to the banker’s hand. Therefore, bets would be best to be placed on this happening. Due to this formality, RTG have decreased the payout earned when the banker does win, by applying the 5% commission; thus players will earn a reward of 0.95:1 on each win he receives.

Wagers can be more when placed on the player’s hand, although wins are less likely to happen (but not impossible to achieve). Each win will provide a payout of 1:1, although betting on the tie (the third bet) can provide rewards of 9:1, which is higher than the traditional 8:1 that is offered elsewhere.

Bets can be placed from as little as R1 and for as much as R500 per turn.

RTP (return to player)

The return to player (RTP) rate for RTG’s Baccarat slot game stands at 98.94%, which is a very attractive percentage.

Verdict

We loved doing our Baccarat game review as we found this game highly enjoyable and one of the best we have ever played from RTG. Although you can play the Baccarat Free Play version at the top of this page, we would strongly recommend playing for real money as soon as possible!
