The Game
Scudamore’s Super Stakes is a 5 reel, 20 payline slot from NetEnt. You can stake various amounts and the game features random wilds. It also has a novel bet slip feature which will multiply your stake and finally the Peter’s Classic Up feature, this is where you play on 32 paylines and if you select the winning horse you can win up to five thousand times your stake.
Slot Graphics
The graphics are pretty basic with the game set on a horse racing track. So you have familiar colours such as green dominating the reels and background. The reel symbols include Ace, King, Queen and Jack (playing card royals) as well as four different jockeys and horses. The most lucrative jockey is red riding the white horse where you can win 12.5 times your stake with 5 across a payline. Slot Game Features
The game has three bonus features. Starting with the Random Wild feature, this is randomly triggered on any spin. Between two and five horseshoe symbols are placed at random on the reels and they will turn into wilds in those positions when the symbols land.
The Bet Slip feature exists in the base game. As a player, you can have one Bet Slip at any given time. When you buy your bet slip you select one of the symbols to collect. You then choose the number of spins to collect for your bet slip. For example seven to ten spins.
Once the feature is running the Bet Slip will track how many times your chosen symbol will appears during the number of spins you selected. The feature will then pay the multiplier multiplied by your stake value, but only if you get that chosen symbol in the total number of spins you indicated at the start. If you selected the wild symbol and the Random Wild feature starts then, it counts towards your Bet Slip.
Finally, there is Peter’s Classic Cup feature. This is activated when you get the trophy (scatter) on reels 1, 3 and 5. This sub-game is played out on a 5 reel, 4-row reel engine with 32 paylines. The player needs to pick one of four horses to win the race.
As you would imagine each horse has a different stake multiplier attached which is also an indicator of how likely it is to win the race. With each horse, there are two symbols that appear on the reels above the track and they correspond to the jockey’s colours:
- Divine Fortune – red colours – A symbol – pays x5,000 your stake
- Berry Max – purple colours – K symbol – pays x500 your stake
- Gonzo’s Quest – green colours and Q symbol – pays x100 your stake
- Tin Foil Hat – blue colours and J symbols – pays x 50 your stake
Once the feature begins, the four horses appear on the racetrack. The free spins begin. When a winning combination is landed, the associated horse and jockey with the winning symbol will move one position forward in the race. The horse that advances four times first will cross the finishing line and of course, win the race and the feature will end.
