Sic Bo Game Review
Sic Bo is a game which has been brought to casino players from the team at Microgaming. It is unknown exactly when it was launched but it has been a popular casino game for some time, and remains the case even today.
The game has an Asian base to it and is a dice game, with the term ‘Sic Bo’ literally translating to ‘Precious Dice’, and it is the rolling of those dice which determine the outcome of the game. You can play Sic Bo on a desktop or on mobile and tablet devices.
GAMEPLAY
Sic Bo is not a traditional slot game in any way, it is more an incredible table game where three dice are in play on what has to be said is a well-designed, colourful betting board on a green looking felt. Visuals are very high quality which you would expect for a game that is often played to high stakes and for big risks.
There are no icons in use in Sic Bo, instead it is all about that betting board where you place your bet on whichever combination you think the three die will total, or alternatively you can bet on whether a certain number will appear within the combination of the dice as they are rolled. Depending on what you bet on will determine the size of the win should you achieve one.
Sic Bo is an Asian dice game, similar in nature to Craps but with a higher volatility with the three dice in action here, as opposed to the two dice that is played in the mainly American market targeted game.
BONUS FEATURE
Given that Sic Bo is more of a regular table game rather than a slot game there are no bonus features of any kind. Sic Bo very much focuses on the traditions of the popular table game so if you are looking for a game with features and spellbinding gameplay it might be worth focusing your attention elsewhere.
RTP
There is a difference in opinion as to what the house edge is on Sic Bo depending on where you play the game. It is generally thought to be between 3-4% which makes the RTP rating 96-97%, which is more than acceptable.
VERDICT
Sic Bo takes a little bit of mastering and it is incredibly high risk, but the rewards can certainly be there if the dice roll in your favour. One thing which attracts gamers to Sic Bo is the freedom with which they can bet with, although that can only add to the volatility of the game. As dice games go though, Sic Bo is probably one of the more enjoyable games, although it could be worth trying the demo play version of the game if you are a newcomer to it as if you don’t know what you are doing you are see cash disappear quite quickly. The catchy soundtrack and flashy graphic provides a more enjoyable Sic Bo experience.
